Agape Leadership and Theology Academy is committed to providing accessible, quality education in Leadership, Theology, Corporate Development, and Ministry Training. Our admission process recognizes both academic qualifications and practical experience, ensuring that individuals with proven leadership or ministry experience have opportunities to advance their education and calling.

Admission is based on academic qualifications, professional experience, ministry involvement, and evidence of prior learning where applicable.

How to Apply

Three admission routes

Academic Qualification Route

Applicants who meet the stated academic requirements for their chosen programme.

WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB or equivalent
Minimum of 5 credits including English

Mature Candidate Route

For applicants with substantial ministry, leadership, or professional experience who may not possess standard academic qualifications.

At least 25 years old
Verifiable ministry/leadership experience
May require interview or assessment

Prior Learning & Professional Route

Applicants with recognized certificates, diplomas, professional qualifications, or ministry training may be considered for advanced standing.

Requirements

Programme entry criteria

Certificate Programmes

Minimum of 5 credits in relevant subjects (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB)
English Language is compulsory

Alternative: Applicants with a pass in English may be considered with relevant work/ministry experience or professional training.

Diploma Programmes

5 credits including English Language
Mature candidates (25+ years) with ministry/leadership experience may be admitted

Mature Admission: Must provide verifiable evidence of experience and complete any required assessment.

Theology Programmes

Certificate in Theology: 5 credits OR ministry certification OR recommendation from church leader
Diploma in Theology: Certificate in Theology OR 5 credits including English OR significant ministry experience
Celestial / C&S Theology: Basic qualifications, church involvement, or recommendation from recognized authority

Mature candidates with extensive ministry experience may be admitted regardless of formal academic qualifications.

Advanced & Professional

Relevant Certificate or Diploma qualifications
Professional certifications
Leadership development certifications
Demonstrable leadership and ministry experience

The Academy reserves the right to assess prior learning for advanced placement.

Applicants with professional certificates, ministry training, leadership development certifications, or significant work experience may receive advanced standing or exemption from selected courses.
